Individual Counselling

Counselling is for everyone.

Individuals come to counselling for many reasons – a significant life change, a crisis or conflict in a relationship, workplace stress, depression or anxiety, or simply “feeling stuck.” One of my chief goals is to offer a space in which you can explore challenging questions and gain new skills. As part of therapy, we will work on the following:

  • Identify and express uncomfortable emotions, such as anger, sadness and fear. Understand and practice emotional regulation.
  • Establish effective communication skills, healthy ways of relating with others, and increased self-awareness;
  • Integrate parts of the self that have been shamed or attacked.

My practice focuses on:

  • Emotional regulation and expression
  • Complex trauma
  • Depression and anxiety
  • Communication across differences
  • LGBTQ2+
  • Workplace conflict
  • Relational intimacy
  • Acceptance in the face of challenges
